We welcome inquiries for our babies and maintain a call list, which is on a first come, first served basis. We will accept deposits to hold babies (almost weaned or weaned) for a limited amount of time. Deposits are non-refundable. We can also accept credit card payments at the time of purchase* or take credit card information over the phone. This new service is just one way of offering our customers more options.

Please note that our contact e-mail address changes over time to reduce the volume of spam we receive. Additionally, we do not provide for e-mail links on our site to reduce being picked up by unauthorized spiders/searches. If your mail is returned, check back on our site for an updated address.

Be sure to add the word PARROTLET (or similar) in the subject line so it can be easily distinguished from our other e-mail. We strive to return phone calls and e-mails every day, however, there may be slight delays when we are in the process of time-consuming maintenance or are handfeeding babies.

NOTE: we no longer raise green-rumpeds.

* If you must pay for your bird using a credit card, you will be responsible for the 7% state sales tax that is normally included in the cost of the bird. Since we previously only accepted cash for our birds we were able to keep expenses at a minimum. State sales tax is included in cash sales of birds and is always added to any other purchases made at the time of sale.
 
Important Notes to Consider before calling:
We are always available to our customers. If you purchased a bird elsewhere, please contact that breeder to answer your questions.
The Parrotlet Alliance is available for those who wish to stay current on the Forpus species. You can join from their site or in our Store. www.parrotletalliance.org
Please be considerate of the time you are calling. We are on Eastern Standard time and do not answer the phone after 7pm.
If you have an emergency, PLEASE call your avian veterinarian. No one can diagnose a potential illness over the phone.
We have a book available on the Resources page. It covers many topics that will help you in dealing with your bird. Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce full sections for you in return e-mail.

Maintaining contact with all the owners of our birds is the key to our success! Our concern does not end when you leave with your new baby...it continues throughout the lifetime or your bird.
